Our Mission"The Wildlife Conservation Enforcement Fund, Inc., (WCEF), is serving the field level conservation officer by providing means that will enable officers to perform their duties in a more effective and safe manner. Our goal is to attain equipment and training for the officers which would not otherwise be available to them through normal agency budgeted funds."
Achievements to DateOur latest purchase for conservation enforcement, 4 ATVs for electric company right-of-ways, several deer decoys. Deer Decoys have been used in Garrett County to catch several long- time outlaws who we have been trying to catch for years. It is hard to say how many real deer have been saved by apprehension of these guys alone. Thanks to all the officers who participated, and to all those who donated to help purchase the decoys. WCEF is proud to announce that, thanks to a generous donation from The American Kennel Club, we will be able to support the Natural Resources Police Canine Program in the coming year.
